Nara is a Brazilian living in the US with a background in material engineering and a deep passion for data engineering. Holding a Master’s and PhD in Modeling and Simulation, she is a lifelong learner who thrives on exploring new concepts and expanding knowledge. With a career spanning both startups and major tech companies, Nara has gained invaluable experience in the data engineering field.

In addition to professional work, she is deeply committed to giving back to the community, volunteering in two data-focused communities in Brazil that promote women in technology, by sharing insights, leading classes, and writing articles to inspire and empower others. Outside of work, Nara enjoys sharing knowledge on Medium, traveling, meeting new people, and staying active through various sports.
