Matthew started programming when he was 13 with a game-like application called “Learn to Program Basic” by Interplay and has been hooked ever since. For the past 10 years, he has work with Ruby on Rails in the healthcare industry building platforms for patient history, scheduling, credentialing, telehealth, and EHR integration. Matthew is driven by a love for process optimization, documentation, automation, developer ergonomics, and generally making life more enjoyable through software. If there isn’t a hotkey or shortcut to do something, he’ll likely build one.
Matthew spends most of his free time with his wife, 2 human daughters, and 1 canine daughter either playing outside, building something, or just goofing around. Any other free time he can find is spent at the gym or writing code.
